I am daughter of two cultures: Galician father and Scottish mother. Because of this and due to my father´s job I traveled to and lived in various countries since a very young age, including several years in an international school in Belgium. This awoke an early curiosity towards different ways of living, lifestyles, languages, concepts of health and dis-ease as cultural constructions, and a broad perspective of the stages of life as seen in different places of the world.
Cheerful and in love with life, I have always been curious, adventurous, empathetic and sensitive. I travel through my profession and through life since every moment, for me, is a journey. I love sharing what I have learned, teaching you what I know. I am a little girl, a woman, a wise woman, an aunt, a daughter, a wife, a doctor, a physician. I have lived in 7 countries from different continents, traveled another 30, and learnt so far 11 languages (Spanish, Galician, English, Portuguese, French, Italian, German, Slovak, Mandarin, Thai, Spanish Sign Language).

I am registered as a physician in the Official Medical Doctors Association of A Coruña (Spain) under the number 152868472. I graduated in General Medicine at the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM, in Spanish). I received several scholarships for studies (in Slovakia for 1 year) and research (in the Clinical Psychology and Psychiatry Department of the UCM) and published several scientific papers In Multilinguism and Neuroscience. I was an Intern Medical Doctor in Occupational Health in one of the main hospitals in Madrid (FJD-UTE). I became a Universitary Expert in Natural Medicines by the University of Barcelona.
I hold a Master degree in Traditional Chinese Medicine and Acupuncture from the University of Santiago de Compostela (Spain) and the Beijing University of Chinese Medicine (China). I am a Tibetan Reiki, Qigong and Yoga Master. I hold a degree in Ayurveda Medicine, a Diploma in Mexican Medicine, an Expertese in Foot Reflexology… I studied and have more official academic certificates than I can list, and I do not have them for most of the things that I know.

I have spent long periods of time with medicine-people and shamans in the jungles of Costa Rica, with traditional midwives and osteopaths from Mexico, with Native Canadians learning about the earth and plants. I have learned from world experts about different therapeutic approaches by working with them in luxurious wellness hotels in various world paradise destinations such as the Wellness multi-award-winning Kamalaya Koh Samui (Thailand), as an integrative medicine physician, or as Medical Director in the popular EcoWellness Resort Augusta in Galicia (Spain).
I also collaborate with other healthcare providers and international institutions by providing webinars and various trainings.
